QWhat Are Airline Miles?
AAirline Miles, also often called Frequent Flyer Miles, are an incentive program offered by airlines. If you are part of an Airline Miles program with an airline, they add a certain number of miles to your account for each flight you make through that airline. When enough miles have accumulated in your account, you may trade them in for free flights or other perks. This encourages flyers to remain loyal to that airline and continue to use it trip after trip. You may also accumulate Airline Miles in other ways, such as using a credit card that is associated with an airline or by staying in certain hotels.
